You’ve accepted that “diets” — the kind that you go on and then off of — don’t work.

You have tried quite a few and with little long term success and you’ve had enough.

Why bother? It’s too much effort, and you’ll put the weight back on anyway right? In fact, you’re keeping in with the statistics that 90–95% of all diets fail.

You love chocolate. The smell. The smooth creaminess as it melts in your mouth. The happy memories of Easter searching for the Easter eggs, hanging with your friends watching movies, your first Valentine’s Day.

You love it so much that you hide how much of it you eat. Hide the wrappers, eat when no one is around, stash some in a drawer ‘for later’.

It’s 3am and you’re staring at the ceiling. Again.

Your mind is racing. It can’t and won’t stop, no matter how much you wish it would.

You know you’ll be exhausted in the morning, but you’ve learned to run on adrenaline (and coffee, and chocolate). Feeling tired and living in a fog is the new norm.

It’s not fun. There’s no joy here. Just survival.

You wish you could fall asleep and stay asleep like you used to.

Here are some tips and ideas for that good nights’ sleep you’re craving.
